Five on Friday

Happy Friday! I feel like this week really flew by. Linking up with AprilChristinaDarci and Natasha for Five on Friday. Thanks for stopping by!

{one} This has definitely been one of those weeks of change. I wrote about it here and here. This weekend we will hopefully sell our Volvo SUV, which also tugs at my heart strings, as that was intended for the babes, as well. We just don't need it being in the city but a part of me definitely will miss it. Thank you so much for all of your support and sweet words this week!
{two} Onto lighter topics...do you know if you need a sequin elbow patch cardigan? I didn't know I needed one, either, but here it is! It's from Very Jane and I love it.
{three} We are having professional pictures taken at the end of the month for the first time since our wedding/engagement, which was, ahem--four years ago. I'm pretty excited and am having fun planning our outfits, etc. I fear if we don't have them taken we will only have selfies and individual pics for our entire time here. :)
{four} Target! Boy,  I have missed Target. I know that I can order anything I need online or get it nearby, but let's be honest, it's not the same. My blog and instagram friends have been posting their fun finds from Target's holiday collections and I am green with envy that I can't run out immediately and do the same! So, we found one not TOO far from our place, although you definitely need to drive or take a cab there. We jumped in the car and headed over and I was like a kid in a candy store. Seriously. I know it's kind of sad, but it is the truth. I loved every minute strolling around that store and stocked up on any fun items (and some practical ones, of course) I could get my hands on.

A week in pictures! Here's what we've been up to this week.

We went one some fun dates this week. We have used HowAboutWe and Gilt City to find some really great places. On Saturday we went to Haven, a rooftop restaurant and aside from the food being so good, the atmosphere was wonderful, too. I would love to see it when it gets warmer here!
Then, on Wednesday we went to Henry, a Jazz bar, which was so fun.

Trimming THE tree! Can't wait to see it all lit up on December 4th!

Have a wonderful weekend!
